Day 8 - Titisee - Mt Freberg - Schlussee - Titisee

Thomas lent the kids some sleds and we drove less than 10 minutes to the ski resort of Mt Freberg. The kids spent a good couple of hours flying down the slopes and walking all the way back up again! Yes this was a very big slope. We had only just taken off and I am too busy smiling for the camera and haven't yet looked down the slope. even though this wasn't Ally's first time down the slope, I think my extra weight was making us go pretty fast...hence the look on Ally's face!

Two ski dudes ready for hot chocolate. We can't wait to go skiing in France.

Late that afternoon we went for a walk around the lake in the next town to Titisee called Schlussee. The sun had disappeared and it was very cold. We didn't see many people on that walk. Andrew giving his sister a cuddle to keep her warm! Thomas serving us breakfast. The village church can be seen through the dining room window. Thomas was keen to get the chores done after breakfast and the he was off skiing or training for his triathlons. Titisee aparently has the best mountain biking in the world in summer.
